Cricket great Sir Ian Botham openly acknowledged today that he has been receiving therapy for erectile dysfunction and urged other men not to suffer in silence.

To prevent any recurrence of erectile dysfunction, Sir Ian, 60, underwent shockwave therapy, which zapped his privates.

He quoted: “Men don’t want to confront this head-on but they must. I haven’t got a problem but I don’t want a problem.”

The legendary cricketer held four “Test Match Special” sessions throughout the course of the summer, one before each match between England and Pakistan.

Sir Ian said, “I’m a male and men do have problems and you have to front up to them.” after his final session of Vigore Linear Shockwave Therapy.

“There’s no downside to this — only a big upside.”
