Micro Needling: DermastampRichard
The Dermastamp is a device designed for skin needling. It triggers the body’s wound healing and repair mechanism by creating “micro-injuries” in the skin which trigger new collagen synthesis. It works on the same principles as dermal rollering but is more ideally suited to treating smaller, more targeted areas. It is also used in combination with AQ Hair Complex for hair loss treatments.
The Benefits of Dermastamp include:
- Increased absorption of active ingredients and increased efficacy of topical skincare products
- Improved skin firmness and tightness
- Improved skin texture
- Reduction in large pores
- Reduction of the appearance of indented acne scars
- Improvement in other types of scarring, including stretch marks
- Improvement of skin pigmentation
The Dermastamp uses very fine vertical needles to penetrate the skin and create small channels in its surface that allow for better penetration of topical products. The action of needling also induces collagen synthesis, allowing the skin to naturally rejuvenate and repair itself.
The Dermastamp treatment is ideally suited for those with acne scarring, lip lines, facial lines and wrinkles or hair loss. You will need to have a consultation to see if you are suitable for treatment.
The needles on the Dermastamp are very fine so treatment should not be painful.
Treatment time will depend on the size of the area being treated. For best results you will need a series of treatments based four to six weeks apart.
You may experience some minimal skin redness that may last from 12 to 24 hours on average.
Your skin will appear healthier and fresher in the weeks following treatment and will continue to improve over the following months.
