Clitoxin is for women of all ages who have decreased libido and want to enhance their sex lives and ability to achieve an orgasm. It can help with sexual dysfunction, especially around menopause when lower oestrogen levels can result in problems including low arousal, difficulty achieving orgasm, pain with intercourse and, in some cases, mild stress incontinence.
Clitoxin can also help to treat damage to the clitoris caused by sports such as cycling and medical conditions including lichen sclerosus (a skin condition that causes itchy patches of skin) and lichen planus (a blotchy rash that can affect the genital area). Clitoxin is a gentle yet might greatly help improving your sensitivity, it is a safe treatment, with minimal side-effects that is carried out by fully trained and licensed practitioners. Before the procedure, a numbing cream is applied to the whole area to minimise discomfort. Some women find the procedure pain-free but there may be a mild tingling sensation as the solution spreads around the area. In some cases, you may have some redness and swelling immediately afterwards, but this should pass within a few hours.
There’s no downtime associated with Clitoxin, and recovery is fast due to the superficial nature of the injections. You can return to your normal activities immediately afterwards.
You should expect some redness, tenderness and light swelling to the area from the needle insertion points and product placement, but this will resolve very quickly within the first day. Minor bruising and pin-point bleeding is very unlikely but is a possibility. You can resume sexual activity as soon as you feel comfortable.
