How does it work?
Lines and wrinkles, loose skin and volume loss typically develop as a result of lost collagen and elastin. A series of non-invasive treatments usually make up the facial contouring procedure, which includes a combination of dermal fillers and anti-wrinkle injections.
Dermal fillers contain a hyaluronic acid gel that is administered beneath the skin. This product may be applied to areas around the cheeks / cheekbones, jawline, corners of the mouth and from nose to mouth. A higher density of filler may be used in these areas to provide a greater level of support to the internal structure. As well as creating a smoother texture, adding volume can help to firm the skin so it appears tighter and more lifted.

As facial contouring addresses more than one area in the same treatment, you may find the whole process takes around 1 hour.
The face may feel tender for the first few hours after the procedure. You may feel it is OK to return to work immediately after the treatment, or you may wish to wait until the next day. Typically, dermal fillers don’t often stop you from continuing with your usual daily tasks; however you may need to keep activity levels low and avoid strenuous exercise for the first 24 hours.
The results of the facial contouring treatment are often visible immediately after treatment. The skin will appear instantly volumised, which also works to create a firmer looking complexion that is more even in texture. Dermal fillers often dissolve in around 12 months, and repeating the procedure will maintain longer-term results.
