Penis elongation through ligament release is a surgical procedure aimed at increasing the visible length of the penis.

By releasing this ligament, the visible portion of the penis can extend further outside the body, potentially increasing its overall length.

The penis consists of a “visible” external part, and an “invisible” internal part that is buried inside the suprapubic area. The base of the penis is attached to the pubic bone via the “suspensory ligament”, which prevents the penis from moving further out and provides an arched angle to the penile base area. The release of the ligament allows

a) the internal part of the penis to move forward and outside of the pubic area, and

b) changes the angle of the arch, providing further stretching of the penis. Hence the “outside” segment of the visible penis is increased in its proportion (compared to the segment inside the body).

How it works?

When a man comes to Dr. SW Clinics with concerns about the length of his penis, we will often consider a penile augmentation procedure. Feeling unsure about the appearance of the penis is common among men of all ages, with its length being of particular concern. Many men feel the size of their penis needs to fulfil a certain expectation, especially when considering the thoughts of their sexual partner.

Penis elongation by ligament release is one of the most commonly performed methods of penile augmentation. This procedure is also known as penile lengthening and involves making an upside-down V-shaped incision in the pubic area. The suspensory ligament holds the penis to a specific angle and can be found internally in the pubis. The surgeon will cut through this ligament to release the penis which drops to a different angle, making it look and feel longer.this procedure is usually combined with penis enlargement with FAT (Penoplasty)

This procedure is effective when the penis is flaccid (soft) and can help to eliminate any aesthetic concerns associated with length, with this procedure being performed when a flaccid penis is less than 8 cm long. Penis elongation by ligament release can often be carried out in combination with procedures that improve the girth (width) of the penis, such as PRP or lipogems or Fat, However, this will mean the procedure time is extended – up to 2 hours.

FAQ's

By separating the suspensory ligament from the penis, it allows the penis to drop to a different angle. This means the penis appears to lengthen by around 1 – 2 cm when in its flaccid state.

Having this procedure can help to greatly improve a man’s confidence, feeling that the appearance of his body is more fitting with masculine expectations – especially when in intimate situations.

The genitalia is a sensitive area, and when carrying out a procedure on this area of the body it may cause some tenderness. Dr. SW Clinics will ensure your procedure is pain-free by using the most suitable form of anaesthesia. this procedure most likely performed under general anaesthesia

In many cases this procedure is carried within 1 hour. Treatment time may be extended if the penile augmentation is combined with another penis enhancing procedure in such case, it will be 2 hours.

Due to the precision of our surgeons, many of our patients find they experience rapid recovery times. In general, a period of up to 1 week will be needed as downtime. You may need to take it easy for a few more weeks as you fully recover, returning to work, but avoiding strenuous activity for 6 weeks.

The purpose of this procedure is to make the penis appear to be longer. An extra 1 – 2 cm can be created which may not sound a lot, but actually makes a big difference. It is important to note that this procedure addresses the flaccid (soft) state of the penis.
