The labia majora (outer lips) and labia minora (inner lips) are no different to the rest of the body and will also see the effects of ageing in much the same way.

Further factors that can cause a loss of volume to the labia are: hormonal changes, menopause and pregnancy / childbirth. One great solution to a labial loss of volume is fat transfer to the labia. Fat transfer to the labia is a specialist form of fat transfer whereby healthy fat cells are harvested from another area of the body and ‘transferred’ to the labia.

This procedure consists of two main stages. Firstly, extracting fat from an area with excess fat cells such as: hips, thighs, abdomen or buttocks. The harvested fat cells are then purified, and injected directly into the labia. Once the fat has been successfully transferred to the labia, you can expect the area to appear fuller, taking on a more youthful appearance, and in some cases with increased sensitivity when stimulated.
