The Dr SW Face-Lift uses a combination of different threads to non-surgically lift and contour the face. Dr Wakil was one of the very few doctors who treated patients with Silhouette Soft threads when they were first launched in the UK. He then started to incorporate different types of threads, such as PDO threads, into his practice to ascertain which gave the best outcomes for different patients and different areas. This led him to develop his signature thread lifting treatment. The different threads work in synergy to create a lifting effect as well as to stimulate collagen to improve skin firmness and plumpness.
The Dr SW Face-Lift is ideal for those who have facial ageing including volume loss, sagging and lines and wrinkles and who want an overall rejuvenation effect without surgery. The treatment is performed under local anaesthesia, with minimal discomfort if any.
The procedure only takes around 45 minutes.
Recovery time is minimal. You may have some mild swelling or bruising for a couple of days post procedure but this can be easily covered with make-up.
You can expect to see up to a 60-70% improvement immediately due to the lifting effect. This will continue to improve as the collagen stimulation effect occurs and the skin begins to tighten and firm. This usually happens gradually in the weeks following treatment, which means it will not be obvious you have had something done.
